Meet Sabrina

Sabrina likes to think of therapy as a place where you can take your mask off and be yourself. In session, she tries to create a judgement-free environment with no expectations on who or what the client should be. As a therapist, Sabrina wants her clients to learn more self-compassion, to recognize they are complex individuals who already have many strengths and resources within themselves. Outside of work, Sabrina has three little dogs that she absolutely adores.

My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of…
  • Cultural adaptation, identity, and belonging.
  • Motherhood & Life Transitions – As a new mother, I deeply understand the emotional and mental shifts of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting, especially while balancing career and self-care.
  • Self-Discovery – I help clients build confidence, overcome impostor syndrome, and navigate career or relationship challenges.
  • Trauma-Informed & Anti-Oppressive Practice – I provide a safe, non-judgmental space that acknowledges systemic barriers and past experiences, supporting healing and resilience.
  • Holistic Well-Being & Mindfulness – I integrate mindfulness, meditation, and emotional regulation techniques to foster self-awareness, balance, and inner strength.
  • Life transitions, self-identity, trauma recovery, and emotional well-being, offering compassionate, empowering, and practical guidance.
My cultural or ancestral background is…
  • Multicultural; I understand the challenges of immigration, cultural adaptation, and identity and I offer therapy in both English and Portuguese.
My work as a therapist is inspired by (not limited to)...
