Nayab Tahir is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who brings a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach to her practice, offering a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences. She believes that therapy is not only for moments of crisis but can also be a powerful tool for self-discovery, emotional regulation, and resilience-building. Driven by her personal mission to break the stigma surrounding mental health in the Southeast Asian community, Nayab was inspired to pursue a career in therapy. In her sessions, clients can expect a warm, non-judgmental environment where they feel truly heard and supported. She has a special passion for helping individuals who feel alone or misunderstood, guiding them toward healing and self-empowerment.   • What is therapy and what can they expect from it. 
  • If clients have ever sought therapy before and if so, what worked for them and what didn’t. 
  • Clients will likely share details about their current situation whether it’s a personal, professional, or business related challenge.
  • They will talk about what they hope to achieve whether that’s overcoming obstacles, reaching a specific milestone, or gaining clarity in a certain area of their life or work.
  • I will explain what my style of therapy is and what therapeutic modalities I use during sessions. 
  • What clients can expect moving forward including, timeline, frequency of therapy, pricing/insurance, scheduling and availability.
  • Any questions clients have about therapy or any other process. 
If we work together you can expect me to…
  • Create a supportive and non-judgmental environment, where you are empowered to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
