Mike Stroh
Mike Stroh is a Registered Psychotherapist who combines mindfulness and self-compassion to create a grounded and honest space for clients to explore their challenges. He believes that healing begins by holding and acknowledging pain, allowing for self-acceptance before solutions can emerge. Drawing from his personal experiences as a parent, a sibling to someone living with schizophrenia, and his own journey through life’s complexities, Mike offers empathy and authenticity in every session. Clients working with Mike can expect a straightforward, nonjudgmental approach that fosters self-discovery and emotional resilience. He is especially passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult emotions, cultivate self-compassion, and embrace both the challenges and joys of life. If you’re ready for an open and transformative dialogue, Mike invites you to connect.
- My experiences and interests give me a unique understanding of the human condition and the transformative power of inner work. Drawing from my own journey through and recovery from addiction and mental illness, I’ve come to see challenges not as obstacles, but as opportunities for growth and resilience. These experiences have taught me that suffering, while inevitable, can also be a profound teacher.
- Inspired by my experiences, I have cultivated a practice of mindful awareness, acceptance, and purposeful action. As a caregiver to someone with severe mental illness, a partner in marriage, and a parent to two children, I’ve learned the importance of equanimity, compassion, and the strength found in facing life’s uncertainties with courage.
- I’ve dedicated my life to the pursuit of healing and wisdom—not just for myself, but to guide others on their paths toward clarity and peace. My mission is to provide a compassionate, informed, and effective space where clients can find relief, growth, and empowerment. This supports them in aligning their actions with their values, and discovering a deeper sense of meaning in their lives.
Kind, compassionate, honest, loving, direct, no bullsh*t, encouraging, calm, wise, curious, mindful, courageous, balanced.
