Jane Aure
Jane is an energetic and vibrant therapist who has extensive training and experience in the world of mental health. She specializes in trauma, depression, and anxiety. She practices from an anti-oppressive framework, and is passionate about working with individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities, women escaping domestic abuse, rape victims, and diagnosed and undiagnosed mental illnesses.
My personal journey has played a significant role in shaping the therapist I am today. Navigating my own challenges and moments of growth has given me a deeper understanding of what it means to struggle — and to heal. These experiences have taught me patience, resilience, and the value of self-compassion, all of which influence how I support my clients.
Each experience has added layers of insight, helping me create a practice that is authentic, adaptable, and deeply attuned to the unique needs of those I support. I understand that healing isn’t linear and that meaningful change often happens in small, intentional steps. This perspective allows me to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, trusting that growth can emerge even in life’s most difficult moments.
